Dr. Leon Igel discusses link between excess weight and metabolism

Tufts University alum and Intellihealth’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Leon Igel, was quoted in Tufts Health & Nutrition Letter’s article about obesity as a disease. “Many of the hormones released by adipose tissue are involved in regulating appetite, energy expenditure, and fat storage,” said Dr. Igel.
